Gin and Juice (The Soothing Spoken Word Version)

Not sure who made this, and even though it could have come from some Zoo Crew FM bro-fest,  I’m still a huge fan of fun remixes that make the lyrics sound out-of-context.

Avi Wisnia - No Scrubs

Of all the covers that could be recorded, never expected to hear this.

Jason Forrest’s War Photographer is one of the coolest songs + videos out there. Just rediscovered it the other day while my iPod was on shuffle.

Don’t Stop Believin’ is one of those songs that’s so universally amazing that it’s actually REALLY hard to find it remixed it any kind of decent way. I picked this track up earlier from the Bootie Blog where it was listed as one of the top 10 mashups of November, 2009 where I think it rightfully belongs and have been incredibly impressed.

… and the audio track to the Canon ‘Journey’ commercial. Not exactly sure of the title since it’s not released to the public but the composer is Michael Montes (Amazon MP3 Album, Twitter)

I love mashups. Not only do they save you time by letting you listen to at least two songs at once, but the good ones take something great and make it even better. Kids by MGMT was probably the most over-played and over-sampled track this summer, but Chiddy’s version of the song takes it in a whole different (and awesome) direction.
